Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) will host a free San Antonio area shred day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, at its Highway 90 branch, 7323 U.S. Highway 90 West.
The event is designed to assist area residents with the safe and free disposal of unwanted, personal documents. “It’s a great way to securely get rid of confidential and personal documents,” said John Worthington, chief communications officer for the credit union.
People can drive up and drop off bags and boxes of paper for shredding only. Limit two 18”x20”x12” full boxes per household. Volunteers from SSFCU will help with unloading, and all documents will be shredded on site.
