Member Engagement

The North San Antonio Chamber offers a variety of ways for our Members to get involved.  Through Sponsorship and volunteer Councils and Committees, Members are able to take a leadership role in forging new initiatives, planning events, and empowering the business community.

Sponsorship

Do you want to spend your marketing dollars strategically? Target your marketing with event sponsorship and gain access to a business audience of decision-makers. Your company gains visibility among Chamber Members and attendees through multi-media outlets.

Councils and Committees

Take the opportunity to conduct business development with the contacts you’ll make volunteering for the North San Antonio Chamber. When you join a committee, you’ll expand your professional network and enhance your leadership skills.

Ambassadors Committee

MEETING DATES: Contact the North SA Chamber for a schedule of monthly Ambassador Committee meetings and mixers.
DESCRIPTION: Committee volunteers interact with members by attending Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting celebrations throughout the year as scheduled.

Chairman’s Council

MEETING DATES: Approximately three times per year. By invitation only to Chairman’s Council level members.
DESCRIPTION: Business leaders conduct high-level networking with other decision-makers at exclusive events (at no additional cost), and are the first to preview information, trends and initiatives planned for the local, regional and national economies as detailed by elected officials and other thought leaders. Admission into Chairman’s Council is contingent upon dues investment level.

Gala Committee

EVENT DATE: February
MEETING DATES: Monthly meetings are held beginning in spring.
DESCRIPTION: Committee volunteers plan and implement the annual board of directors installation and awards presentation by securing sponsors, coordinating event logistics and marketing the event to promote attendance.

Golf Tournament Planning Committee

EVENT DATE: March
MEETING DATES: Contact Leticia Peña Martinez for monthly meetings & times.
DESCRIPTION: Committee volunteers plan and implement the annual golf tournament and awards presentation by identifying a location, securing sponsors, coordinating event logistics and marketing the event to promote attendance.

Government Affairs Council

MEETING DATES: Monthly meetings are held year-round on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
DESCRIPTION: Committee volunteers explore legislative, political and civic issues; work with other businesses, community groups, chambers of commerce, and city, county and state agencies to solve problems; and develop recommendations to the Board of Directors on positions of endorsement or opposition regarding such issues.

Infrastructure Committee

MEETING DATES: Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every other month starting in January.
DESCRIPTION: Committee volunteers monitor and suggest necessary changes and/or improvements regarding roads, drainage, and other infrastructure issues, and develop recommendations to the Board of Directors on positions of endorsement or opposition regarding such issues.

Leadership Lab Planning Team

EVENT DATES: Monthly Lab sessions are held March through November.
MEETING DATES: Monthly meetings are held throughout the year.
DESCRIPTION: Committee volunteers plan and implement a 9-month leadership development program by identifying program locations and discussion topics, securing speakers and sponsors and coordinating event logistics. Committee involvement is limited to Leadership Lab alumni.

City Vision for San Antonio & State of the County Sponsorship Committee

MEETING DATES: Monthly meetings are held year-round
DESCRIPTION: Committee volunteers plan and implement a formal address by the Mayor and County Judge, secure sponsors, coordinate event logistics and market the event to promote attendance.

Small Business Council Committee

EVENT DATE: Second Tuesday of each month, Check the Calendar of Events for Dates
MEETING DATES: Meetings are held quarterly.
DESCRIPTION: Committee volunteers plan and lead the monthly Coffee and Conversations and Small Business Luncheons to promote networking and relationship building.

Technology Committee
