lone star capital bank logoNerdWallet.com today published a new series of advice columns focusing on small business lending. The series, which consists of interviews with CEOs of 31 financial institutions across the country, includes a feature on Lone Star Capital Bank President and CEO Danny Buck. The information provided by Buck describes the benefits of community banks and appears in four different sections of the series – his individual interview, “Lending Predictions” “Financing Advice,” and “Loan Advice.” Buck is the only CEO from a San Antonio-based financial institution included in the series. The interview, in its entirety with links to the other sections noted above, can be accessed at http://www.nerdwallet.com/small-business/ceo-series/ceo/lone-star-capital-bank.

According to NerdWallet.com, the goal of the new series is to give business owners “access” to CEOs of different types of lending institutions in hopes of clarifying and demystifying the lending process, as well as provide them with actionable advice.  The 31 interviews include CEOs of community banks, credit unions, and non-bank lenders. The New York Times and Money Magazine, among other publications and outlets, regularly feature NerdWallet.com’s advice columns. NerdWallet.com plans on releasing the CEO series to those outlets as well as others such as The Wall Street Journal and CNBC.
