TexStar National Bank held a Lee’s Denim Day for Breast Cancer Awareness at all 5 of its branches during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

In one day the bank raised almost $500 through employee and customer participation.

Here’s how they did it:

• Each employee donated at least $5 to participate in Denim Day by wearing jeans to work.
• The bank’s lobbies were filled with pink “Remembrance Balloons” for anyone who wanted to donate $5 and write the name of a loved one they would like to honor who has fought breast cancer. Balloons were released at the end of the day. (See Photo)
• An employee  ”Pink Bake-Off Contest” was held after work. Each employee who wanted to taste the pink treats and be a judge donated $5 toward the fund raising effort.
