SACU mobile ATMs set up for 2012 Wurstfest

SACU (San Antonio Federal Credit Union) loaded up their mobile ATMs to provide convenience for festival attendees at the 2012 Wurstfest in New Braunfels for the next 10 days.

“Our red logo can be seen at events across central and south Texas throughout the year,” SACU director of corporate services Jeff Sefcik said. “SACU has provided ATM mobile service at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and St. Mary’s Oyster Bake for the past few years. With the large number of visitors who come to the San Antonio events, they see our units and call us to help them with their festivals. This year we will be providing the ATM convenience for about 15 events, all the way from Pflugerville north of Austin to Floresville, south of San Antonio.”

The mobile units have seen unplanned service as well. When evacuees from Louisiana were housed at Port of San Antonio in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, SACU helped out by placing mobile ATMs on the property. When hurricane-fueled storms caused power outages in Houston, SACU moved its mobile ATM to the SACU Fallbrook Branch to help members and residents in that area until power was restored.

SACU is a $2.9 billion credit union, with 17 locations in San Antonio and one location in Houston. The credit union provides convenience to members through a network of ATMs and free online and mobile banking. The credit union also provides benefits to members with competitive yields on savings, lower loan rates, and reasonably priced financial services. There are hundreds of ways to become a member of SACU. For information, visit www.sacu.com.
