Love and Logic: a free community author presentation

Love_Logic_logoAuthor Jim Fay (Parenting with Love and Logic) will speak to parents, grandparents, and foster parents about setting and enforcing behavior limits without screaming, threatening or negotiating with your child. The discussion will be hosted Thursday, September 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the St. George Episcopal School Sanctuary at 6900 West Avenue.

Jim Fay is the co-founder of The Love and Logic Institute, founder of School Consultant Services and has more than 30 years’ experience in education as a teacher, principal and administrator.

Jim Fay is one of America’s most sought-after presenters in the fields of parenting, positive discipline and classroom management.

“The Love and Logic philosophy teaches character. Character is built out of a formula that involves three things: a child making a mistake, an adult feeling empathy and compassion for the child, and the child learning from the consequences of his or her actions.”

Parking is limited due to ongoing construction. A free shuttle is available from Castle Hills First Baptist Church at the corner of NW Military Hwy and S.
