May 11 | UT Health San Antonio’s Internal Medicine Chief Resident, Dean Kellogg III, M.D. developed aerosolization boxes that fits over a patient while they’re being intubated. The box provides an extra layer of protection and helps reduce the spread of COVID-19 to health care staff.
