Coronavirus Emergency Loan Small Business Guide and Checklist

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, known as the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), allocated $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. The PPP initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses who maintain their payroll during this emergency.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce created Coronavirus Small Business Guide (available at uschamber.com/sbloans or PDF) to help small businesses, independent contractors, and gig economy workers prepare to file for a coronavirus relief loan.

The guide outlines steps small businesses should take now and prepare to access much-needed funds to help keep their workers on the payroll during this crisis period.
