San Antonio Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP) invites public comment through April 25

The North SA Chamber favors realistic, financially sound, and collaborative planning with industries directly affected to address potential future climate impact. NSAC President/CEO, Cristina Aldrete, notes, "We strongly encourage our Members to review the City's current plan and provide feedback through the planning process."

In a call with U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar (Texas District 28), The North SA Chamber learned from the Congressman:
  • The Mexican government is "moving on [USMCA] legislation"
  • Business groups consider USMCA "crucial to their ability to do business in Texas"
  • Differences in the Senate, unhappy with new tariffs, and House, wanting more "enforcement mechanisms" need to be resolved
