Monday, Mar 4 — SB 421, relating to the acquisition of real property by an entity with eminent domain authority, was heard in Senate State Affairs. One of the main NSAC concerns regarding SB 421 is that current language allows for more litigation for landowners. Legislative changes that add unreasonable expenses, result in increased litigation, and seek changes to long-held judicial principles must be opposed.
