We were thrilled when the Governor's office asked us to arrange a lunch event with the NSAC Board of Directors and their guests. Governor Abbott spoke to a group of about 100, sharing remarks from his State-of-the-State address. The Governor spoke of the importance of addressing school finance reform, to include pay teacher raises, and property tax refrom during the 86th Legislative Session now underway. He also expressed his support for bills in the House and Senate that would prohibit cities from passing or enforcing any order, ordinance, rule, regulation or policy relating to any form of employment leave, hiring practices, employment benefits, scheduling practices, or other terms of employment.

Airport Advisory Commission seeks Applicants
Applications are being accepted for the City of San Antonio’s Airport Advisory Commission (AAC) for 12 slots total; 2 slots expiring March 18, 2020 and 10 slots expiring March 18, 2021. Those interested in applying may do so online using the City’s web-based application for boards and commissions.
