MM-Main-logo-300x108Continuing care retirement community, Morningside Ministries, broke ground for its newest expansion in Boerne, Texas in early April. Future residents and staff joined in support of   the new facility – The Overlook at Menger Springs. Set for completion in 2015, this expansion will redefine retirement living. Private residences of modern architecture alongside a brand-new dining venue, combined with excellent services and programs, will offer an exceptional quality of life for older adults in the area.

groundbreaking-groupTexas is projected to have the fourth-largest senior population in the U.S. by the end of the decade. This growing of our senior population has stimulated a great demand for continuing-care services, like those that Morningside Ministries provides. “Boerne is an attractive area for many of these people,” says Loewenberg about that expanding senior population. “We have waiting lists. So this expansion was a natural step to take.”

groundbreaking-audienceRepresentatives of The North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and The Greater Boerne Area Chamber of Commerce attended and supported Morningside Ministries in these announcements. Former Mayor of Boerne, Patrick Heath, and current Mayor, Mike Schultz, attended this event and spoke on the impact Morningside Ministries has had in the Boerne community since its inception in 2004.
