Jim Heaney manages the Commercial Business Banking Group for Comerica Bank, and has been in banking in San Antonio for about 24 years. Jim is active in the community and serves on the board of the American Heart Association, and has served organizations including San Antonio Sports Foundation, Northside Education Foundation and Catholic Television of San Antonio.

Jim and his wife Cristina of 23 years have two children Lauren and son-in-law Mike, and son Trevor. They are proud grandparents of grandsons Grant and Harrison.

Jim says he enjoys 'Trop Rock' music and is a member of the San Antonio Parrot Head Club. But Jim says he likes to "party with a purpose" by raising funds for local charitable organizations.

Technology Council

FOCUS: With many of San Antonio's technology leaders involved actively in the Technology Council's program planning and outreach, the group helps to promote the growth of this sector within our local community. Our goal is to help Chamber members embrace and understand the innovations available to them and assist Council members in developing strategic alliances to create new projects and processes within south Texas.

MEET monthly to network and hear business related technology presentations at Technology Council meetings. In addition, address business growth issues – such as sales leads, customer service and contracts, etc.

HEAR about relevant technology issues directly affecting San Antonio's growing IT community at the Business Technology Series events. Event Chair: Craig Morrow

DISCUSS best practices in a North Chamber member-only environment designed exclusively for senior IT staff at the CIO Breakfast Series. Program Chair: Todd Renaud

LEARN about technology trends, products and services at the annual CIO Panel – San Antonio's premier technology luncheon event. Event Chair: Bronwen Scott

CONTRIBUTE articles to the eTech Newsletter which provides thought leadership on technology issues, products and services. Several contributors have generated business leads from "Google" searches on their topics. Program Chair: Bryan Guinn
