The North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce ("the Chamber," "we" or "our") is dedicated to promoting commerce within the San Antonio business community. We recognize that membership in the Chamber is voluntary, and we are committed to protecting the privacy of our members' and visitors' personal information. This privacy policy covers information obtained from our members and visitors, including without limitation through our website located at www.northsachamber.com. INFORMATION COLLECTED

Membership Agreement Form. We collect and maintain all information that you provide to us when applying for membership.

Contacting Us. When you contact us for any reason, we collect and maintain your contact information.

Event Registration. When you register for a Chamber event, we collect and maintain all information that you provide.

The Chamber does not use cookies on its website. However, the Chamber does use log files that include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer this website, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

USE OF INFORMATION

In general, the Chamber will only use the information you provide to us for the purpose for which such information was provided. The Chamber may use information it collects from and about our members and visitors as follows:

Financial and Personally-Identifying Information. We use your financial and personally-identifying information, including financial account numbers and expiration dates, solely for billing and/or order-fulfillment purposes. We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services provided through our website. That company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. Both the Chamber and its outside processors may (i) use the information you provide as necessary to process your online purchases; (ii) maintain the information as long as necessary or as required by law and used internally for record keeping, internal reporting, and support purposes; and (iii) provide the information as required by law or court order, or to defend our rights in a legal dispute.

Membership Directory. We publish a membership directory publicly accessible through our website, and may include in that directory any information (except financial information and other information that you request we keep private) that members provide to us. Such information may include, without limitation, the business name, business contact information, business address, and a business description that you provide to us. The Chamber may also provide that information in non-electronic form.

Lists and Publications. From time to time, we publish membership lists and publish articles submitted by various members. Those lists and publications may include any information (except financial information and other information for which privacy is expressly requested) that members provide to us. The Chamber may also provide its lists and publications in non-electronic form.

Offers and Updates. We may use your information to communicate with you about events and publications offered or sponsored by the Chamber. We will not use your information to communicate to you offers for goods or services from members or non-member vendors.

Other Communication. We value your membership with the Chamber and seek to keep you informed of matters that may affect your membership with us. Accordingly, we may use your information to communicate with you about such matters.

User Profile: We may use your information and use of this website to maintain a record of your purchases/registrations, your demographic information, and/or perform trend analysis, pattern detection, and website administration. Non-personal demographic and profile data may be used to tailor your experience at our website, showing you content in which we think you might be interested.

The Chamber uses industry standard security measures to protect your information both online and off-line against loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
