Tobin E. Olson is a shareholder in the Corporate and Securities practice group of Cox Smith Matthews Incorporated, a leading San Antonio-based business law firm. Tobin assists clients with domestic and international business transactions, including public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, as well as general corporate law. Tobin received a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1990 and a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 1993.

Tobin is active in various professional and community organizations, including the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the Texas Lyceum Association (2004-2008), the San Antonio Free Trade Alliance, and Leadership San Antonio (2001-2002). He is also a member of the Board of Elders of Concordia Lutheran Church and Vice President, Treasurer and director of Alamo Heights Fort Sam Houston Youth Soccer. He has been named a "Texas Rising Star" and "Texas Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly and one of "San Antonio's Best Lawyers" by Scene in SA.

Tobin and his wife, Andrea, live in San Antonio with their three daughters.

Finance Council

FOCUS: The mission of the Finance Council is to assist and serve the membership, board of directors and chamber staff in achieving its financial goals and objectives. This Council provides monthly financial statements, prepares annual comparisons, tracks financial trends and reviews internal controls.
