Clay Jett joined Texas Capital Bank in 2006 as Executive Vice President and manager of the corporate banking division in San Antonio and was promoted to President in 2009. Clay brings over 23 years of diverse banking, finance and operating expertise to his responsibilities in his role overseeing the operations of Texas Capital Bank in the San Antonio region.
Prior to joining Texas Capital Bank, Jett was a Senior Vice President with JPMorgan Chase in San Antonio and responsible for delivering large financial institution products and services to the San Antonio business community.
Clay earned his BBA from The University of Texas at Arlington with concentrations in Finance and Economics. Clay and Julie now have four daughters and remain very active in the San Antonio community. Clay currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, as Chair-elect and Executive Committee for Family Services Association and as a Director for the Valero Alamo Bowl. In addition, Clay continues to serve on various not-for-profit committees primarily engaged to support much needed services to the San Antonio and South Texas residents including Christy’s Hope for Battered Women & Children and the San Antonio Junior Livestock Show and Exposition.
Finance Council
FOCUS: The mission of the Finance Council is to assist and serve the membership, board of directors and chamber staff in achieving its financial goals and objectives. This Council provides monthly financial statements, prepares annual comparisons, tracks financial trends and reviews internal controls.
